Four museums and a party...in one weekend. Part 5

This is the last post from the England expedition. We don`t want to be one track minded(!) so we went to an air plane museum too……
Not far from the Haynes museum we found The Royal navy Fleet Air Arm museum (http://www.fleetairarm.com/planning-air-museum-visit.aspx)

An original paint Corsair KD 431.

And guess what…..there was a motorcycle….WD BSA M20.

And the party?……George firing up a cammy Norton for the first time…

Four museums and a party...in one weekend. Part 4

Most of us have them…..The Haynes manual…A worn greasy copy covering BSA A65`s or the Ford Cortina`s…With the classic quote “contact your local dealer” when you were looking for the really need to know answers…scary if you live in a heavy neighborhood…..
Anyway the Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford near Yeovil in Somerset have a great collection of cars (about 400) and a large speedway bike collection.

1930 Norton.

1937 Ok Supreme Silver Cloud.

Clearly a man build for speed…….

An Idiot Abroad...or two?

A “friend” phoned me and asked why I never had any photos of my wife or other ladies on my blog….Well, on the web there are sites that specialize in photos of females…in all shapes and sizes….Anyway Gunnar is my own Karl Pilkington (So that makes me the vintage bike blogger answer to Ricky Gervais….)

Just to rub it in….Two male idiots abroad:

It is not hard for me to look ridiculous.

I want them…..all…

Yes….I does know you got one of these….

Well Gunnar…..Size does matter….

Yes…I do know you like the BSA power egg….Hence the title of this blog piece…

The legendary bike.

The legendary rider.

Hmmmm…….nice legs…..

That’s one of the bucket list, Gunnar.
