HEDEMORA TT

Finely we have arrived at the Hedemora pits. We had super sunny weather with 30C for 8 hours all the way in Sweden. Friday night the rain came, so we had to put opp the tent and make some adjustments with sticks from the wood. That's what outdoor lifes about... The BSA can`t wait to get the throttle opened. The best thing you can eat at a motorcycle event: Bullens pilsner korv! Really puts the lead in your pencil. This whats its all about, a 1931 Husqvarna 500cc racer.
A Manx Norton from a rats view. That`s where the Christmas fairy lives.

Guinness is good for you, we all know. But it is the first time i have seen it used for a pipe extension on an early KTT Velocette.

A NSU Bullus is not the bike you see on every meeting.
Gentlemen, start your engines! Sound of music.

A Scott TT bike, rear and nice!
Vincent 500cc from 1951.
Husqvarna V twin....without the V. Missing the rear cylinder.

Hedemora TT jubeleum 2008

It`s only a day until I am going to Sweden for the Hedemora TT jubilee. The first race was held her 75 years ago, and the last 50years ago.

The track are public road that are closed for the event (hopefully). This year nearly 100 classic racers will be there.II am going with my BSA Gold Star 350, ca 1954. The photo shows it as a cafe racer. I just have to remove the cafe, and voila: a period clubmans racer!Have to add some tuning and polish before it goes in the caravan.
The engine has twin sparks from a PAL magneto, GP carb, Pearson crank and a lot of "go faster goodies".

If the trailers rocking, don`t come knocking
